- Finally back home from Calella and time for a short race report. My race at Ironman 70.3 Barcelona started with an average swim in the pack, after falling on the sprint into the water. I worked really hard on the bike to get me back in a good position and managed to squeeze out my best 70.3 ride so far on that hard and honest course. Came of the bike in 4th position, with just a few seconds behind my buddy @bartaernouts, who finally won the race in that strong field.👏 I was in good position, but struggled with with my left calf from the beginning and had to slow down a bit, to finish again on 7th place. I love the course. It‘s hard and honest with lots of climbing. Not the easiest race to start the season, but lots of positive things to take away.
